Teenager Explains Global Warming To Trump After Seeing His Ridiculous Tweet

U.S President Donald Trump has incited yet another Twitter frenzy over a miseducated tweet on climate change. This is not the first time the world leader has released a baffling tweet on the topic. Last year he appeared to be confused over news that it could be the coldest New Year’s on record,

that the country could use a little bit of global warming. Twitter responses to such statements prove that you don’t need to be a scientist to know the difference between climate, weather, climate change, and global warming, however, NASA explains it like this:

“In most places, weather can change from minute-to-minute, hour-to-hour, day-to-day, and season-to-season. Climate, however, is the average of weather over time and space. An easy way to remember the difference is that climate is what you expect, like a very hot summer, and weather is what you get, like a hot day with pop-up thunderstorms.”

And while President Trump frequently uses the term ‘global warming’ instead of ‘climate change’ the two are not interchangeable. The rising temperatures of the earth due to greenhouse gas is only one of many effects of climate change.

In response to reports by the Weather Channel of record lows for Thanksgiving weekend, President Trump challenged the scientific evidence behind global warming

While others were happy to provide short lessons on the topic and plenty of critique
