In this interconnected high-tech world of anonymity, even the birds fall victims to cyberbullying. Luckily, the human of this bird saw this incident just in time to put an end to it. She even managed to take a picture of it for educational purposes, so the knowledge can be passed to other birds out there on the Internet.
Warning: If you are a bird owner and you see your birdie spending lots of time on the Internet, make sure you have a talk with it first about the dangers of online communication. Remember that birds are naive and innocent, and can’t decide for themselves, so it’s our responsibility as adults to protect them. Once you finish your speech about cyberbullying, don’t forget to instruct your bird about other similar things, such as sabotage over sexting or Internet frauds who pretend to be good but just want your money.
